This was the first movie to be filmed for the first time in Panavision Super 70mm, although some shots in the land rush sequence used Arriflex 765 cameras, 35mm VistaVision cameras for aerials, and a 35mm Bell & Howell Eyemo mounted with a Panavision anamorphic lens.
