The replica house was built on a stage, and they wanted to do the big post-slaughter scene with ambulances and cops at sunrise, but apparently it costs major dollars to create the look. Producers shot the idea down. Apparently the filmmakers behind Halloween Kills (2021) wanted the same thing on this same stage and were also shut down.
