Around the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly (2018), sexual assault allegations were made against actor Vic Mignogna prompting Funimation to end their relationship with him. This marks the first time that he does not provide the English dub for the adult Broly having voiced the character since Dragon Ball Z: Il Super Saiyan della leggenda (1993). He is replaced by Johnny Yong Bosch.
