Shredder and the Foot Clan's hideout were filmed in an abandoned cement factory called the Ideal Cement Factory outside of Wilmington, North Carolina in Castle Hayne. This location was also used as the set for Dinohatton in Super Mario Bros. (1993) and Top Dollar's nightclub in Il corvo - The Crow (1994).
