Although the comedy blockbuster L'aereo più pazzo del mondo (1980) was a direct remake of Ora zero (1957) (starring this film's crash culprit, Dana Andrews), it was also a parody of the Airport films, especially this one, as the sick little girl (Linda Blair) with an acoustic guitar is famously parodied by Jill Whelan.
