It is heavily implied between the opposable thumbs and quasi-sapience allowing the Indominus Rex to perceive concepts such as killing for sport that human was a contributing piece of its genome. This is never confirmed in the franchise, but has been hinted at given most diagrams of the Indominus Rex list an unknown contributor that is classified. Due to laws about cloning humans and the controversy that could ensue, in-universe it makes sense why this would never be revealed. However, due to never being outright confirmed, it cannot be said for certain.
