Throughout the show, Orla shows signs of autism. In fact, she has typical traits that are usually connected with the medical definition of the Autism Spectrum Disorder. For example, she takes several things literally, misses social cues and behaves oddly in certain situations. On the other hand, she has a rather high intelligence and a deep understanding in things that interest her the most.
