Only season 1 of the series is titled "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis." Seasons 2 and 3 are titled "Dobie Gillis," and season 4 is titled "Max Shulman's Dobie Gillis." When Shout! Factory issued the series on DVD, they didn't bother differentiating between the series titles and renamed them all under the original title. The DC comic published during the series broadcast (and after) from 1960 through 1964 also retained the first season title throughout its run.
