"The Ninja Tribunal" story arc (Season 4 finale and the entire 5th Season) involved 4 warriors of the Ninja Tribunal appointing 8 acolyte warriors the assist then in the battle against the evil Tengu Shredder including: The 4 Ninja Turtles and 4 other warriors: Joi Reynard, Adam McKay, Faraji Ngala, and Tora Yoshida. All 8 acolyte warriors were given amulets that allowed them to tap into their chi. The amulets start glowing when used and puts stripes with their bandanna color on the turtles bodies.
