Co-producer Robert Watts doubled as the scout walker driver who is thrown out of the AT-ST walker by Chewbacca. This role was originally written for General Veers, who was played by Julian Glover in L'Impero colpisce ancora (1980). Since he looks nothing like Glover, Watts was credited as "Lieutenant Watts".
