The character of Colonel Race, one of Agatha Christie's recurring characters, was a counter-intelligence agent of the British spy agency MI5. He appeared in four novels: "The Man in the Brown Suit", (1924), "Cards on the Table" (1936), "Death on the Nile" (1937), and "Sparkling Cyanide" (1945).
