An old style bus bench can be seen in front of the Sands just after Sammy walks by. At the time of this film's release, Las Vegas Blvd. was an ordinary city boulevard, with large asphalt parking lots for all of the establishments there. Cars simply turned left or right into them from the road. Local buses ran to ferry casino employees to and from work, as well as the odd intrepid tourist on an adventure. In 2022, the Deuce bus still does the old Strip run to and from Downtown.
