In S02/04, Blossom and Six mention that "The Fresh Prince" was staying in their hotel and Will Smith even made an appearance as himself. However later on in S02/EP19, Karyn Parsons makes a guest appearance as "Hilary Banks", her TFPOBA character and goes on a bachelor auction date with Anthony which implies that the shows exist within the same universe. However, it doesn't explain Will Smith playing himself and NOT his TFPOBA character 15 episodes prior.
