It's well known that "Hillman" is a thinly veiled disguise for Howard University; a highly regarded HBCU in America. There is a Hillman Medical Center which is part of Univeristy of Pittsburgh Medical Center; not too far away from Cosby's Alma Matter, Temple University in Philadelphia. That's likely where he got the name "Hillman" from.
