Although pirates Pintel (Lee Arenberg) and Ragetti (Mackenzie Crook) feature quite prominently in this film (and the next two Pirates of the Caribbean movies), they are only referred to as such in the credits. In fact, their names are never used on-screen until Pirati dei Caraibi - Ai confini del mondo (2007).
