Whilst this film was in production, a 60 second commercial for UK television was filmed on two of the movie sets and featured William Shatner and James Doohan both in character as Captain Kirk and Scotty. It was broadcast in early 1990 in the UK advertising National Power/Powergen and also featured British actor Simon Cadell. It is available to view online at YouTube.
