When asked about a crossover between Pacific Rim and the Monsterverse, Steven S. Denite who directed Pacific rim Uprising (2018) revealed that there are talks taking place about a crossover. In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, he revealed: "There'sbeen a lot of discussion about the possibility of crossing over. Look, I think it would be fantastic to have the Pacific Rim universe join Legendary's Monster Universe, it seems like an natural step." He even admitted that as a fan it would be something he would love to see.
