Heimdall's teenage son Astrid asks to be re-named "Axl" in honor of "a rock band from Earth". He refers to Axl Rose, the lead singer of Guns N' Roses; however, Axl is an ancient Norse name that means "helmet", thus blending Asgardian and human culture.
