The DVD/Blu-ray combo release of the film included as a special feature an alternate "revenge ending", jokingly referred to as the "John Wick 2 ending" by director Eli Roth. In the scene, Evan is planning to get revenge on Genesis and Bel by following them and tracking them down via a mobile app GPS pet tracker on his pet dog Monkey's collar (the girls take the dog with them at the end of the film). Roth felt the scene resembled something from a slasher film, so it was cut.
