Desi Arnaz Junior makes a brief cameo in "I Love Lucy"; but not "The Lucy Show". Lucie Arnaz was alive when "I Love Lucy' was being filmed; but she never makes a cameo. Although Lucie Arnaz appears in several episodes of "The Lucy Show", the sequel series to "I Love Lucy", Desi Arnaz appears in none. She was Cynthia, a malt shop employee, and a friend of Chris Carmichael in "Lucy Is a Soda Jerk." Later, she played much older than her age, popping up as a teenager in "Lucy Is a Chaperone" (though she was 11) and as a friend of Lucy (at the age of 16) in "Lucy and Robert Goulet." She was also a fellow student of her mom's in the school when Lucy Carmichael goes back to high school in 1967's Lucy Gets a Diploma. Both Desi Arnaz Junior and Lucie Arnaz would star in 1968's follow up series Here's Lucy with their mom for three seasons. Then Desi would leave the show for greener pastures (he hoped) and Lucie would stay on the show for the duration.
