Throughout the series, when people would refer to Green Grove as a "nursing home", Tony would correct them, stating quite forcefully that it's a "retirement community". In the final season, Dr. Melfi referred to Green Grove as a "retirement community", and Tony retorted, again quite forcefully, that it's a "nursing home".
