The episode implies that she is a retired model and a biochemist, as well as her established I.M.F. position. It was already established that she has some knowledge of a field of medicine, as she is always the default nurse when a mission requires it. If the top-secret government biochemist is her actual cover story, it explains how she can embark on so many missions and not be recognized.
