At the beginning of the eighth season, Ana-Alicia was terminated, and was brought on by Kristian Alfonso, the show's fan favorite, to replace her. Unlike her predecessor, Alfonso's character had lacked the charm that Alicia's character portrayed. However, Alicia would later return as Samantha Ross, and would leave the show for good, at the end of the same season.
