James Stewart's character Jeff winds up in a cast after being injured while photographing at a motor raceway. The year after this movie was made, the worst catastrophe in motor racing occurred at Le Mans, when 83 spectators were killed by flying debris from one crashing car. Grace Kelly herself, later as Princess Grace of Monaco, would die from a car crash after suffering a stroke while driving.
