While Daimon and Ana have a different power set in the series (no real magic and the ability to exorcise demons and the usual telekinesis instead of their comic powers), Daimon still has the ability to summon flame just as Ana can absorb the life force from individuals (albeit through contact and not butterflies), a nod to his hellfire and her succubus abilities, respectively, in the comics.
