Terrence Howard who plays the part of NYC detective Mercer also played a detective in the movie Four Brothers - Quattro fratelli (2005). The four brothers' last name was Mercer. All the brothers were small time hoods who were adopted by Evelyn Mercer who only adopted the lost causes. Bobby Mercer was played by Mark Wahlberg.
