In the March 26, 1994 broadcast of Noel's House Party (1991), Dean Cain appeared in character as Clark Kent/Superman from this show. In that episode, Clark tells Noel Edmonds that he's temporarily working at the Crinkly Bottom Observer doing a story on Superman and Noel Edmonds gives Clark a plate of green jelly, which Clark thinks is Kryptonite.
