Dorothy Eustis and Morris Frank established The Seeing Eye in Frank's hometown of Nashville. Due to the hot temperatures in that region, which slowed the training process for the dogs, it was decided to move the organization to Whippany, New Jersey, and subsequently to its current 60-acre campus in Morris Township, NJ, which includes administrative offices, student residences, a veterinary clinic and kennels.
