Saoirse Ronan and Juno Temple were considered for the role of Luna Lovegood. Scarlett Hefner, who later played Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter e il principe mezzosangue (2009), also auditioned for the role. Juno Temple later went on to star in Horns (2013) alongside Daniel Radcliffe.
