The disc Static used to fly was called the Static Saucer. It was created by Richie Foley, who made it out of Mylar, a metalized nylon that is stronger than steel. The Static Saucer was lightweight and folded in half for easy storage, but when Static applied an electrical charge, it unfolded into a disc.
