During filming, several of the main actors on set were turned off by their costar, actress Tuesday Knight and director Renny Harlin's apparent romantic fling which ultimately resulted in Knight being pampered by Harlin and given special attention while the other actors were tossed aside by crew members. The rumor of their relationship on and off set was talked about so much that when the documentary Never Sleep Again was being filmed, many of the cast spoke of their distaste and jealousy over Knight getting all the attention from their director some twenty years prior.
