(at around 2h 10 mins) The young Apocalypse's appearance is based on the appearance of the Engineers in Prometheus (2012), which featured Michael Fassbender and visual effects supervisor Richard Stammers. Bryan Singer enjoyed that movie, and hired Stammers to work on this one.
