In March 2022, actor Clay Cureton posted an audition tape on his profile on the website Actors Access showing his audition for the role of Bushman, who is not featured in the series. There is no official information if the character was supposed to appear in the show. In July 2021, there was some speculation that Loic Mabanza would play Bushman after videos shared on social media showed him training with Oscar Isaac in Budapest. It was later revealed that Mabanza was actually playing Bek, Anton Mogart's bodyguard and henchman.
