Writer Charles Lederer was indeed Marion Davies's nephew. He was the son of her sister Reine Davies and George W. Lederer (who produced and directed Marion's first film Runaway Romany (1917), which Marion has also written). Charles would go on to have a prolific career as a writer in Hollywood.
