It is situated about sixty kilometers north of Adelaide and borders on the famous Barossa Valley wine region of the state. Many regular landmarks used in this TV show featured major Freeling locales such as the truck-stop, Freeling Institute (playing the Gungellan Town Hall), and the Railway Hotel (portraying the Gungellan Hotel).
