David Troughton, son of Patrick Troughton (The 2nd Doctor) played Professor Hobbes in Doctor Who: Midnight (2008), and Karen Gillan's cousin Caitlin Blackwood played Amelia Pond in Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour (2010) in seasons five and six.
