Lack of funding for the film compromised the story, and at least 10-15% of the script was unfortunately never filmed (the original script was 117 pages which could have been a 2 hour film). Director Gary Sherman felt that the movie was too short. This was due to budgetary constraints and therefore 17 pages from the movie script were never filmed, explaining why some parts of the film feel unfinished or rushed, the editors had to stitch together a vaguely coherent story out of what little footage they had to work with.
