In the gift ceremony photos of the family as children (on the wall next to Abuela's room), each child is standing in front of their new door. All of their doors bear representations of them in their future (present-day) teen or adult forms. However, when Antonio's new door appears, the representation is of him as the child he still is. This is because Abuela Alma was the one to lead everyone previously to their door. Since Abuela was the keeper of the magic the doors represented her expectations of their power. Since Mirabel was the one to lead Antonio, the door showed Mirabel's influence on the door. This being Antonio exactly how he is now and happy. This was the beginning of the transfer from Abuela to Mirabel as keeper of the magic.
