In the show, it is revealed that the last name of Carrie (the ghost character) is Kruger which makes her name a "Double Homage" to two Horror characters. Her First Name to Stephen King's character "Carrie" and her Last Name to "Nightmare on Elm Street" character Freddie Kruger.
