When J. Jonah Jameson is needing a name for Doctor Octavius, one suggestion from Hoffman is the title Doctor Strange, about which Jameson mentions that its already been taken. Doctor Strange is a magician superhero another major co-creation of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and often an ally of Spider-Man. Years later, Spider-Man would team up with Dr. Strange in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Sam Raimi would be hired to direct Doctor Strange nel multiverso della follia (2022).
