Near the end of the film when Rowan becomes a giant ghost, his face bears a resemblance to Dan Aykroyd, and as he grows to full size, a resemblance to the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. In Ghostbusters (Acchiappafantasmi) (1984), Aykroyd's character Ray accidentally conjures the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man during a similar scenario.
