Singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop, who plays the "charming guy with guitar (the one that gets smashed by John Belushi's character, Bluto)" met Karen Allen on set. The two lived together for some time but later broke up, and Bishop wrote the song "Separate Lives" based on their breakup. Years later in 1985, the song became a hit sung by Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin and was featured in the film "White Nights," which was also released in 1985.
