The producers wanted to hire Katee Sackhoff to replace Jorja Fox when she left the show, but the executives at CBS and Jerry Bruckheimer Television overruled the decision. However, Sackhoff played detective Frankie Reed in CSI - Scena del crimine: Cold Blooded (2010), CSI - Scena del crimine: Fracked (2010) and CSI - Scena del crimine: All That Cremains (2011).
