There are numerous episodes where you would often hear the voices of Alan Reed and Henry Corden in the same scene, with Reed, of course, voicing Fred Flintstone and Corden voicing another character, usually a heavy. In the movie, The Man Called Flintstone (1966), Reed would do Fred's speaking voice and Corden would do Fred's singing voice, the only time both men would share the role. After the death of Reed on June 14, 1977, Corden would take over voicing for Fred Flintstone in all subsequent Flintstones spinoffs and product commercials until his death on May 19, 2005. The exception is The Flintstones Kids (1986), which takes place when the main characters were children. While Scott Menville voiced the young Fred Flintstone in that series, Corden voiced Fred's parents, Ed & Edna Flintstone.
