During the first tank assault on a tree line that has several anti-tank guns (German 75mm), and a trench line with dismounted enemy infantry, the American infantry walk behind the tanks using them as cover. This is accurate. However, once the soldiers come out from behind the tanks to assault the trench line, they are walking and firing. In reality, the assault would come with the American infantry running hard and fast to reach the trench line.
