Likewise, the hands of co-director Felipe M. Guerra appears in several scenes as if they were the hands of the Augusta Street Ripper (for example: holding a drill, hammering the face of the vampire, pressing barbed wire on her body, etc). This was less a tribute to filmmakers like Dario Argento (who usually does the same thing in the murder scenes of his films) and more a way to save on dailies to the actor who really played the Ripper, Henrique Zanoni.
