In Becker's office by the door, sitting on the piano, are two dolls of Duckman and Cornfed from the animated series Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man (1994). Michael Markowitz, the producer and writer of Becker, was also the producer and writer on Duckman. (Nancy Travis had a prominent role on Duckman, as well.) Both shows starred a cranky, cynical, rant-loving main character.
