The 19th December 1984 edition of 'The Los Angeles Times' reported that star Bill Murray had withdrawn from this picture deciding to take six months off from film work after having completed two movies for the Columbia Pictures studios which had been Ghostbusters (Acchiappafantasmi) (1984) and Il filo del rasoio (1984).
