Richard Rush doesn't typically plan via storyboards, "probably for contemptible reasons, and that is if I do storyboards people will know what I'm going to do and they can argue with me in advance." Hershey denounces them as getting in the way of inspiration, and Railsback adds "They're for directors to look at in case they forget."
