The film was originally set to be theatrically released in the United States on June 18, 2021 by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. However, on March 23, Disney announced the cancellation of the film's theatrical release, and that the movie would instead stream worldwide on Disney+ in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
